Why I'm Qualified to represent District 4

My work in New Castle County has always been about one thing: helping people protect the places they care about and build communities they can be proud of.

From preserving open space to supporting neighborhood groups and local businesses, I’ve spent the last decade fighting for smarter growth and stronger communities. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who gets things done and brings people together.

Here’s why I’m ready to serve District 4 on County Council.

I’ve Built Grassroots Movements That Deliver Results

I founded Save The Valley, a grassroots campaign that mobilized over 10,000 people to protect 320 acres in Beaver Valley. That land became part of Delaware’s first and only national park.

I serve on the New Castle County Open Space Advisory Board, helping shape policies that preserve land and create parks for future generations.

I helped launch Rank The Vote Delaware, bringing attention to ranked choice voting and how it can strengthen democracy in our state.

I Stay Involved Where It Matters Most

I served on the County Executive’s Transition Team under Matt Meyer, offering input on planning and land use.

I’m an active board member of the Midtown Brandywine Neighborhood Association, where I also work on the Greenscape Committee to improve public spaces.

I sit on the Advisory Board of a local youth sports league, because community is about showing up for people!

I Bring Tech, Business, and Communication Skills to the Table

I own and run Trolley Web, a small business that helps nonprofits and local companies build websites, improve visibility, and connect with their communities.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with organizations across Delaware to help them tell their stories and grow their impact.

I know how to make systems work better and how to explain complex issues in plain language that helps people take action.

I’m Rooted in This Community

I’m a lifelong Delawarean, born and raised in Wilmington.

I live an active, community-centered life. You’ll often find me running city trails or playing ultimate frisbee in local parks.

I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and believe that inclusion should be a foundation of how we build our neighborhoods.

This Work Is Personal

This campaign isn’t about chasing a title. It’s about continuing the work I’ve already been doing: advocating for smarter growth, protecting what matters, and making sure local government reflects the values and needs of the people who live here.

I’m running for County Council because I know what’s possible when people organize around a shared vision. I’ve seen it. I’ve helped lead it. Now I want to bring that same focus and energy to serve District 4.
